About

Hello!

My name is Wyeth, and I’m an industrial designer, urban planner and sustainability specialist based in Madison, Wisconsin. I’ve recently graduated with a Master’s in Regional Planning at Cornell University. Previously I graduated with a BS in Industrial Design from the University of Cincinnati and worked as a Senior Designer at McKinsey & Company in Chicago.

My academic and professional interests center around just material management, including source reduction, reuse, deconstruction, environmental justice, and the reconceptualization of waste, all in effort to move toward a more sustainable, just world. I have worked on projects to manage and reduce wasted textile, plastic, food, and building materials. While at Cornell, I have worked as a member of CR0WD to craft policy recommendations to support the deconstruction of buildings in Ithaca and New York State.

I am currently conducting research and preparing grants to support CR0WD and the deconstruction ecosystem in New York State, but I am also looking for opportunities in sustainability, decarbonization, waste management or deconstruction in the near future.
